A full-length film about Rama's exile, the abduction of Sita and the battle for Lanka.
Full text of the story
A full-length film about Prince Rama: His exile into the forest with Sita and Lakshmana, the abduction of Sita by Ravana, the meeting with Hanuman and the monkey army, the bridge across the ocean and the return to Ayodhya, which the world still remembers as Diwali.
The animation was made in India in 2010, and it keeps the tone of the original: Rama is not a folk hero but the Lord Himself, and even Ravana meets his end at the hands of the one he refused to recognise.
One warning for parents: there are battle scenes, so we suggest it from six or seven years and up, and better watched together the first time.
