Little Krishna: The Darling of Vrindavan

The first film of the Little Krishna series, made in India with the blessing of ISKCON: the witch Putana who comes with poison and leaves purified, the whirlwind demon Trinavarta, the serpent Kaliya driven out of the Yamuna, and the everyday life of the village between these events — the cows, the butter, the friends, the mothers.

Notice what the film never does: no demon is simply destroyed. Each of them touches Krishna and is set free, which is exactly how the Srimad-Bhagavatam tells it.

Only a 480p copy exists in English, so the picture is softer than in the other films here.
